Steve Riley, Certified Cicerone & President of BetterBeer.com

A former Server, Bartender, Bar Manager, General Manager, Restaurant Management teacher at George Brown College, and restaurant consultant, Steve Riley is the President of Draught Prophets Inc. (a draught service and training company) and BetterBeer.com Ltd. (a beer quality certification company). Both companies share a single mission – to increase the quality of draught beer at point of dispense through education and certification.

Since 2001, Steve has delivered over 800 beer educational sessions for hospitality management/staff and brewery sales representatives across Canada.  Steve’s hospitality industry experience allows him to easily relate to staff participants.  Steve Riley is one of only two Certified Cicerones™ in Canada, which is the beer equivalent of a sommelier.
